To start the year off, all mem- bers purchased shirts alike. Members also attended the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls basketball game in Chica- go. In addition to sponsoring a dance, they also bought a camera to be used filming games. An- other goal was to place a bul- letin board of track records in the gymnasium. Spirit + Yelling + Enthusiasm = Lots of enthusiasm, spirit, new members, and fun, went into mail- ing Fairfield ' s pep club one of the largest and loudest in the area again this year. The club with their 140 members of screaming girls, attend- ed all home games in full force, and also went organized to several away games. Not only did the girls yell at games, but they also kept busy by making signs and posters to help build school spirit. The club also again this year gave the Pepster of the Week award after each home game to the girl who they voted showed the most spirit.
