Sunshine Makes Other Lives Bright The Sunshine Society was very active again this year. In i :eeping with their motto others , the society gave a donation to a 16 year old accident victim who was paralyzed. They also collected money for the Riley Children ' s Hospital by sponsoring the Riley Queen Contest. In keeping with tradition, the girls had cake raffles at the home basketball games. Editing, deadlines, and hard wori , all go into making an annual, and that is just what faced the annual staff this year. Did you ever hear of working on the annual and watching the Johnn Carson show at the same time ' That ' s what happened on nights before dead- lines when staff members usually worked until the late hours of the night. Many new experiences faced new members, such as selling ads, and learning how to make lay-outs. But all members worked together and cooperated to make the annual a success.
