5 'J' Through their four years at Fairfield High School the 1957 d gra uates found their school a proverbial green pasture filled with many varied delicacies. Besides acade ' d ' ' ' mic epaitments staffed with well-trained and professional-minded instruc- tors, special departments-speech, music, art, physical education, D. O., television and radio-staffed with specialists in these fields dotted the meadow with nourish- ing grass. The long, easy-to-reach grass was nibbled by those who were satisfied with lust getting by. The short delectable grass was eaten by those who really wanted to learn. Through the years many have grazed in this pasture, and in the future many more will graze here.
