Attempts are made to form smaller ensembles within the choir such as boy and girl octets, trios, and quartets . Repetoire included sacred music, secular, folk tunes, and Negro spirituals. Few programs were given until spring, except by small en- sembles. Seasonal music was studied and programs were prepared.
