September l2 - Our well-dressed boys lrib pads. shoulder pads, knee pads! made a wonderful start tonight by beating Bridgeport 33 to 7. September l7 --V Home Economics Cluh, better known as the F. l-l. A., reorganized today. Incident- ally, there is a brand new club in school, the Con- servation Club. September l9-- Fairfield vs. Mt. Carmel, 25-O, our favor. September 22 - Do you like sandwiches? Well, if you do, you wcn't have to budge. because sand- ' lx f ' wtches. cokes, and candy are sold iight here Five Percent Club initiation also took place today. My conscience says l should stay, but my feet sav go. Who could forget Jack Rank in The Merchant of Venice? September Z6 - Um um, have I won green or have l. Good old Fairfield beat Olney 20-O. September 30 7 Today of all days is the last day for Seniors to have their pictures made. October 3 -f - This morning we had a pep session. Because the love bug bit Retha Payton, one of our cheerleaders, we elected a new one -- Jackie Monroe. The Juniors also selected their class rings. Some of the group pictures were taken today. This was a busy dayl Tonight we played Salem, here. lf you ever have seen a close and thrill-packed game that was it.
