They sang for the Chamber of Commerce of Fairfield and at the high school Christmas program. Mr. Wethering- ton has done a grand job of teaching both popular and classical songs to the girls. lt's enlightening to hear these beautiful voices of the Glee Club sounding throughout the bottom floor. Glee Club, however, does not offer a full credit toward graduation, but the classes do not meet every day. lt offers a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with good singing and to be able to enioy it. The Boys' Glee Club, like that of the girls, has made various appearances at school and throughout the community. These boys do wonderful singing. They aren't lazy either: they sold Christmas cards and the Wayne County RECORD subscrip- tions in order to help pay for their new choir robes. The director, Mr. Wethering- ton, has taught our future Sinatras and Crosbys many songs. We should hear more from the high school Glee Clubs in the future. They have entertained many busi- ness and civic organizations.
