Shy Guy On November 4th and 5th the Senior class presented Shy Guy a three act comedy The story centers around the problems of Fred Hastings a young football player who with the aid of his chum Larry Madison gets into some rather serious trouble Due tosome of Larry sbrarnstorms Fred 1S doomed Since Fred is in such a predicament Larry generously offers to work out a solution to his problems Since Larry s excuse IS not sufficient to stall off the queries of Fred s parents and his girl friend Nancy Graham the truth comes out but after a series of hilarious episodes everyrlung turns out for the best Fred Hastings Cora Hastings Gilbert Hastings Nancy Graham Larry Madison Julie Tucker Gloria Patterson Melinda Whipple Lois Corwin Mr. Danbury Bill Sterling Cast Director Miss Helen McC1eaf Larry Byers Suetta Martin Herbert Gingell Irene Bowling Roger Myers Elaine Neely Lou Anna Zentz Jeanne Preston Connie Schroll Ed Spence Tom Angello 29 Q we

Junlor Sensor Prom The Jun1orSen1or Prom honorrngthe class of 55 was held on May 13 1955 Top Hat lwrght Club the theme of the prom fur mshed the background for all festrvxtres The gym was decorated as a nrght club w1th the entrance re presentmg a lrghted marquee Pass1ng through the foyer we were attracted by black lrfe slzed llkenesses of the members of the Senior Class These Celebrrtles silhouetted agarnst a whlte background were the focal pornt of one wall An enormous gold crest made up of a top hat cane and gloves was spothghted on the center of the ma rooncurtarn The Keysmen whoprovxded the musrc were featured ln a semr crrcular bandstand below Tables covered wrth whrte lxnen were arranged around the dance floor to accommodate the guests As ln every mght club there was a floor show W1Ih Herb Gmgell actmg as Master of Ceremonres The entertalnmentrncludedvarrous acts of magrc several vocal groups and some spec1a1ty numbers Refreshments were served throughout the evenmg by underclassmen The boys servmg as walters and grrls garbed as French WBIIICSSSS replemshed the food and drrnk for guests The fCSI1V6 mood and gay atmosphere made the oc casron memorable - . . . , 1 1 , . 11 1 - 11 1 1 - ' - 1 1 11 ' ' 11 - - 1 , . 1 1 , - - 11 11 - - . 1 1 1 1 , . 1
