The H025 travk season found Fairfax rinder artists eonipetiiig in every meet of any llllll0l'l2llll'l' in Nortliwest Missou1'i, ,Individual traeksters earne to the front as the season progressed. The Waller 1ne11 lllilllf' their best showing in the Northwest Missouri meet when they scored fifteen points against a large field of eompetitors. Rus llurns sm-ored the Ollly first when he leaped twenty feet and five ini-hes for individual honors in the broad jump. Taking the season as :1 whole, Lee Wrinkle was the outstanding pers former. Lee is not a l,'a1l1lovk but he is eonsistant and nianages to place in about three events in every meet. The hurdles was his best event last year. The men who represented Fairfax on the einrler paths i11 1925 were R. Burns, L. Shelton, U. R-uddell, L. VVrinkle, B. VValker, VV. McDonald, J. Martin, H. lleardorff, and A. l'an1pbell. 'l'he outlook for the l!l2ti season is brighter than it has been for sev- eral years. Most of last year's regulars and :1 wealth of new material will be out battling for plaees. ,Ruddell should make his 1na1'k in the sprints this year. He has a natur- al stride but lllll!-ll improve his start if he is to be :1. tape breaker. Wrinkle, a veteran of two seasons, is giving' his attention to the hur- dles and his sprinting erqierienee is a big help to hi111. Shelton is out again determined to win his spurs on the 1-indor paths. Walker is trying for the 440 Zlllll stands an exeellent ehanee of making the grade. Wesley MeDonal:l, one of the first to report for track praetiee will be given a chanee in the short sprints. Two freshmen have reported Zlllll if early season performances are any indication of ability, G. Wrinkle and B. Burns can be counted 011 to carry their end of the burden of another successful year. Already G. Wrinkle is leading the way for the veteran quarter milers by 50 yards and Burns is clearing the jumping standards with height and ease. Smith, also a fresh- man, shows promise in several events. Coach Waller is now working on a baseball schedule and if suitable opponents ean be found will have a. team to represent the Bulldogs. The following mon have reported for praetiee and look like promising material on which to build a team: Green, eateherg Walker and Wrinkle, pitchersg G. Wrinkle, E. Uatron, D. Catron, Graves, infield: Donelson, Sillers, Lind- strom and Sehooler, outfield.
