Two weeks after the beginning of school, the Fair Facts staff honored Rebel spirit by presenting the first dance of the year. The informal atmosphere of the dance made us quickly forget our disappointment over the hard-fought loss to George Washington. Anxious days of excitement and curi¬ osity were climaxed when Betty Cinibulk and Mike Eidson were crowned Peppy and Johnny Rebel. Two new faculty members, Mr. Muhle and Mrs. Talmadge, were chosen Lord and Lady Fairfax. Betty and Mike, the newly-crowned representatives of Rebel spirit, share a dance. 12
