One thing We have Worked on this year is to make large posters for every basketball game and wrestling match. These are made usual- ly by a group of 4 or 5 girls chosen by the cheerleaders. They are given a theme which the poster is based on. These make a good sign of school spirit to help encour- age the boys. Suzy Buboltz, Patti Kiecker, Debbie Polkowskc, Becki Sell, Barb Dahl- quist. F HELLO OUT THERE One Act Play This was a one -act play which was presented at the District One -Act Play Contest held in New Ulm on Saturday, january 21. The cast includes: Becki Sell, Iudy Berdan, Henry Kolb, Craig Walters, and Ron Weldengen. The play was directed by Mr. Blackburn. 35 BOYS' AND GIRLS' STA TE ul Dennis Polkowske, Judy Berdan Judy Berdan and Dennis Polkowske were the 1966 candidates to the annual Girls and Boys State convention. During their stay at the convention Judy was elected to the office of city alderman and was a delegate to the county party convention, while Dennis became a delegate to the state party convention and was a nominee for Associate Justice. Both Judy and Dennis agreed that this annual convention has made a lasting impression on them. They feel that it has helped them to become better citizens and in turn help them to do their part in making this a better nation Dennis's personal feeling is that every one of the boys he met there was the greatest and that he is sincerely happy that he was chosen to represent F. H. S. Judy said that her experience will help her to become a better citizen. They both hope that next years delegates will get as much out of it as they did. The 20th annual banquet and crop show was held Saturday, February 4. The high point of the evening was the presen- tation of the Chapter Sweetheart to Barb Dahlquist. Barb received a jacket and a necklace from President Jerry Kockleman.
