HISTORY OF CLASS OF 1973 °69-’70 Cathy sauntered in, contributed what she could, and casually left. Suzanne skipped in a freshman and trotted out a ‘hos.’ Bebe came in alone and left with a shadow. Mary came in quietly and left rambunctiously. Mildred started on page 1 and stopped on page 57. Valerie came in quietly and rioted out a genius. 70-71 Henri came in, decided on a chemistry major, and exploded out. Merrie limped in, recovered, but limped out. Tippi came in reluctantly pushing St. Mary’s and left willingly pushing Alabama. Lynn came in a minor and left an adult. Allison came in getting in trouble for pants and left wearing blue jeans. Diane came a vampire and left a ‘Bozo.’ Erin came in a waif and left a princess. Shane came in with a twin and left an individual. Sarah popped in friendly and cheered her way out. Betsy strutted in thinking rusty and left carrying her thoughts out. Kasey came in cheering for Princeton and left cheering even louder. 71-72 Kathy came in a brown, stayed a blonde, and left a frosted black. Jean came in a Miller and left with a ‘Sie.’ Chris rushed in laughing and left crying. Ann came in loving Carlos and left the same way. Susan flew in being very helpful and left needing a handy Dan. Mary Berkeley came in just as a southern belle and left with a twin. Miriam came in with two brothers and left with two true sisters. Elizabeth walked in on her own two feet and floated out on cloud nine. Alice Ann came in eating like a Hogg and left eating like a Moose. Martha came in the day and left in the Knight. Cam rode in an amateur and jumped out professionally. Cathi entered with some talent and decoupaged her way out. Beverly came in having no earthly idea why and left with godly knowledge. Debbie came in quaint and left with everything coordinated. Becky moved in the infirmary wing and moved out from the cancer ward. Pam sprang in smiling and danced out smiling. Patti came trying to get out and left trying to get back in. TEETER: Debbie came in a brunette and left a frosty. Lori walke d in a human and swam out a porpoise. Susan was accepted a senior and graduated a freshman. Terri came, tried it, liked it, and left. st MARY BERKELEY FELTON Friendliest MILDRED SAUNDERS SUPERLATIVES Class Cutie KASEY WATSON ERIN SULLIVAN Most Likely to Succeed Most Outgoing 112 SARAH VANN Wittiest SUZANNE GRAY Most Versatile MARY MCKENNEY SUSAN FATHEREE Most Athletic 113 Best-Dressed THE SENIOR PROPHECY After ten years, the Class of 73 is found on the campus of Fairfax Hall filming a movie entitled THE GRADUATES. Everyone is busy getting ready and getting flustered. Oh no! There goes Mikelait, the producer, running out the front door in search of the members of the first scene. She finally finds them down at the riding ring whooping it up. These cowgirls, Suzanne, Mary, Mildred, and Cam are roping steers under the direction of the ringmaster, Susan F., better known as “Texas.” Pam, Bozo, and Terri are in the auditorium rehearsing a scene from the play they did while they were here at school. They are having difficulty remembering their lines. There goes Bebe. “Bebe, where are you going?” “I have to find Betsy. We’re singing ‘Wouldn't It Be Nice’ in five minutes.” Everybody is looking for Valerie, Tippi, and Cathy C., but they are nowhere to be found. Lynn, sleeping late, is awakened by their record player and she discovers them out on the balcony. Chris and Lori are down by the pool catching some sun, and Becky and Debbie go to tell them the good news. They have just secured a year’s stand to play for a night club. It’s lunch time. Miriam is out by the outdoor smoker preparing to light the grill. Alice Ann is giving her a hard time about using so much charcoal starter. It’s time to eat now and everybody is surely hungry from the hard work they’ve been doing. Pattie and Kathy A. have sent word that they will not be able to make it to the cookout, for they are quite nauseated from the M M commercials they have been shooting. Everyone is gathered now and all are busy with their meal. To the right of the cookout everyone is watching Martha and Elizabeth as they rally in tennis. The game is getting very tense now, and it will determine who will take the lead role in the movie, The Life of A Tennis Pro, which will be directed and produced by Kasey and Henri. Kasey is reading over the script for the movie, and Henri is smiling at everyone. Here comes Beverly. Oh no, it seems she has been working too hard on those salt commercials. Mary Berkeley is in the art department painting backdrops for the pool. These are needed for Susan S. and Shane’s synchronized swimming act. We are missing someone important! Has anyone seen Sarah? We were told she was last seen in the mailroom playing post office. 114 Erin has sent Jean to town to get some film. Allison went along with Jean to get a hamburger at the Chili Shop for she claims she doesn’t like charcoal hamburgers. Now practically everyone is gathered around the food, talking about the day’s work. All of a sudden we hear a whoop. Here comes Ann riding T. G. and pulling Frost on the dead leaves on her skis. Merrie is spotting Frost from behind on her new horse “Gary.” And never fear, Mrs. Skene is right behind saying, “I’ll see you two in my office im- mediately after lunch!” This was the first °73 class reunion.
