Matheny hopped in a “Bluefield Beaver” and left still wearing the T-Shirt. Tommie came being a doofus and left loving one. Prissie came a sweet Southern gal and left headed farther South. Kim came like Miss Vogue and left that way. Margie trotted in an amateur and posted out an equestrienne. qs! We are all at the concession stand during the intermis- sion of the movie, “Civilisation—A Personal View by Kenneth Clark.” First we see Army, who walks up with her Russian hubby, Stashek Dostoevski, III. She is being tailed by Betty Ann, who is passing out business cards for the SPA Health Club. in Atlanta, where she is now a professional masseuse. Here comes Catherine who has just fin- ished cutting a new album entitled “My Home, My Own, My Morganton.” Next we see Ruth Ann and we are all shocked by her pink eyes. It seems that her original gray eyes have landed her a job as an optometrist’s model for contact lenses. Oh, here comes Cathy Cameron who has finally succeeded in life. She is in charge of the hogs and chickens on her husband’s farm. Viva los labradores! Not far behind is Cindy and we are sorry to learn of an accident that has left her repeating the same phrase, “The jets are gonna rumble, the jets, the jets, etc.” Admiring the preview photos is Clore. She has a masterpiece now hanging in the Met- ropolitan Museum, entitled “It’s A Beautiful Day.” Margot is next to her and we learn that she resides permanently in Australia and makes her living by doing exhibition swimming for tourists. A picture of Dani and Steve (the famous look-alikes) was passed around. They now model for My Sin perfume “when it’s hard to tell the girls from the boys.” Now we see Foley with her rosy-cheeked husband, Johnny Appleseed. After three and a half years of good harvests, she is now quitting the apple business to teach P.O.D. to young “scholars.” There is Frosch who now has a rather greenish complexion. She intimates that since graduation she has devoted herself to the pickle industry and is the devoted wife of Dill P. Ickle. In walk Grant and Dean, the proud grandparents of a new litter of puppies. Good work, Pete! Nancy Green, her diet having been somehow thwarted, is now known as Nanny No- Neck at the circus. Hearing a lovely melody, we turn to find that Ann Gates is singing second soprano in the new version of “The Sound of Music.” Anita was chosen to play Dulcinea in the Broadway production of “Man of La Mancha” with John of St. Dunstan’s cast as Don Quixote. We find that Dana has made three trips around the world showing her renowned horse, Pennypincher. Up walks Julie and tells us that she is now a preacher at a Holy Roller church in a rural district near New Orleans. Hartman has recently completed a novel en- titled, “How to No-No with Na-Na.” Lisa, proud recipient of the “Susie Homemaker Award,” shows us her most recent accomplishment, a burgundy scarf, four blocks in length. In trots Thea, the tired, overworked owner of “Tia Thea’s Tamales.” Keep ’em rolling, Thea. We now learn that a new building has been given to O.D.U. called the P.J. Dorm for Women. P.J.’s Chinese spouse, Youg Fu, donated the yens. Cam, we hear, has been bustling about filling pans with hot water and turning on radi- ators. She is founder of The Vaporizer Club of America. The air feels better, thanks to her. Penny has just arrived with Nicky Onassis and their yacht, “Christina II,” is docked just out- side. Cissi is here sporting a broken leg; she fell off Gilgarra Mountain during a recent pil- grimage there. Over in the corner, posing strategically, is Monty, who is now a Playboy Bunny. Watch for her next foldout! Then there is Prissie, better known as the Clara Barton of the ’70’s. Her endowments alone could wake the dead. Jody has the part of Cannibal in the hit show, “The Little Ras- cals.” Her only line is “Yum, yum, eat ’em up,” but she plays the part quite well. Sandra 74 is now Jim Nabor’s leading lady in the popular “Gomer Pyle Takes a Wife.” Outshining everyone is Kim, owner of Saks Fifth Avenue. Her gold-sequined dress is nearly blinding us. Sara is introducing us to her husband, the Man from Glad. When asked about the suc- cess of her marriage with him, she replied; “It make me happy.” When Henni is not working on The Daily Sketch she is busy conducting tours of the Tower of London. Speaking to a crowd of listeners is Dolly, author of the book, Organization-The Key to a Better Life. She also holds a cleaning job three days per week. Valerie is now handing out her new book, Memoirs from Typing II; it is interesting and very revealing. Jean is now a famous artist in Rue Montmartre; we knew she’d make it. While distributing samples of her chicken, Kerry is singing “The Frying Chicken Song.” Carlene tells us that she is now danc- ing with the Russian Ballet. Freddie is head of the F.B.I. department which investigates Latin lovers. Here come Ruthie and her husband, Klassje Van Lewen, whom she met on a ski slope in Switzerland. Matheny is famous as the first female Tarzan; her ape call was her success. C. Moore is dating Pete Maravich and we hear that they are comparing basketball tech- niques. Mini-Moyer is also a star; she made it big by portraying the mouse in “The Mouse That Roared.” Kathy and Bruce are here, as lovey-dovey as ever, and still look like newly- weds. Tommie and Lynn are still together and are currently starring in the new version of “Women in Love.” Beth tells us that she is now a housemother at one of the frat houses at U. Va. Too bad, Sutton. Dale earns her living by doing commercials; you can see her por- traying Mrs. Burke for Grapenuts. Margie has just come up and told us she is teaching rid- ing in the Bahamas. Mary Lib is head of the Surfing Union in Myrtle Beach and that keeps her quite busy. Virginia and Roger are both policemen now, due to Virginia’s practice in saying, “Ill see you in court.” Cutch has her own discotheque in London and is giving dancing lessons to the Royal Family. Judy tells us that she is now the head freak in the latest production of “Hair.” Last, but not least, is our Vicki Harrison. Though still quite young, she has aged considerably. After turning out three million pairs of Vickipants (green pedalpushers with white zippers) she found that they were not in demand and she is now quite destitute. Ah, well! Never mind! As you can see, we are all stars in our own right, and we hope that we will all meet again some day soon. Mrs. JOHN S: AHEARN, JR. THANKS The Senior Class wishes to express its appreciation to you, Mrs. Ahearn, for your understanding and concern for each of us.
