Get Serious! Student Council sponsored the Homecoming Dance as usual this year and also had another Sock Hop during the year. A Wall Decorating Contest between classes was held at Christmas time. 1. Dean Waters and Jim Farley hung streamers for the Homeocming Dance. 5. M usic ls a U niversal Language Although small in number the F-C Choir managed to stick together and put out three great concerts as well as participate in the musical Oklahoma The choir felt like even though the quantity was small, the quality was still there. They brought back - firsts from contest which included the mixed and girls' ensembles as well as a duet by Laura and Jane Mole and solos by Julie Arnett, Robin Metz, Lori Turner, Rose Lawrence and Lisa BesGrove. The Choir had their annual Christmas l-lolly drive and used the money earned to attend the Madrigal Dinner Concertrat l.S.U. The four soloists chosen to sing at Pops concert were Julie Arnett, Jill McCulIoh, Steve Mildred, and Mike Paul. Due to the small number of members, the choir has become a very close knit group and all the memories of this year of choir are very special. 1.
