1979 Homecoming Queen Jill McCulloh and King Mark Rathbun were crowned at coronation on Saturday night. Couples danced to the music of Sunsinger. Members ofthe court danced the traditional Queen's dance. Members of the 1979 Homecoming Court were: Dan Thames, Tina Bachtold Csophomore attendantsj, Rob Broquard, Laurie Bazzell, Doug Nylander, Jan Magee, Jason Moser Ccrown bearery, 1978 Homecoming Queen Tina Hobart, 1979 Queen Jill McCuIIoh, 1979 King Mark Rathbun, Stephanie Nylander Ccrown bearerj, Becky Thames, Scott Simon, Diane Broquard, Todd Kilgus, Susan Broquard, Scott Hathbun fJunior attendantsb, Tina Schonians, Roger Bachtold CFreshman attendantsb. Cheerleaders held the SVC horse race at the pep assembly. Sunsinger provided the music at the Homecoming dance. Portraying Tommy Tartar at the pep assembly was Warren Moulton. Carolyn Kokotek and Ken Leuring got in the Homecoming spirit on Hat Day. Linda Headley, Mandy Stewart, Angie Maurer, Kevin Headley, Tom Cange, and Anita Maurer took a rest from the dance floor. 4 . Homecoming '79 - Fairy Tales The Homecoming Parade, with a Fairy Tales theme, included class floats, homecoming court and attend- ants, the F-C Marching Tarters, and the F-C Alumni Band. Winners of the float competition were lst - Jr. High, 2nd - Senior Class, 3rd - Sophomore Class, 4th - Freshman Class, and 5th -- Junior Class. At 7:00 that evening, the football Tartars met the Deland-Weldon Eagles. The Tarters were victorious with a victory of 21-O. Saturday evening, couples danced to the music of Sunsinger. Queen Jill lVlcCulloh and King Mark Ftathbun were crowned at the 10:00 coronation ceremonies. FOI-IS Presents. . . Oklahoma America's favorite musical, Oklahoma, was brought to the FCHS stage on Nov. 16 and 17 under the direc- tion of David Fuller, Marjorie Mosier, music director, and Joan Fleck of the Pontiac Township High School, cho- reographer. The '42 musical, by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein ll, features a variety of top songs, including, Oh What A Beautiful Mornin', The Surrey With The Fringe On Top, and Kansas City. More than 40 students participated in the production as characters in turn-of-century dress, swaggering cowboys in denims, high-stepping showgirls, dancers, chorus members, and stage hands. 1 . 3. ,ff tr - 4.
