This year's class play, The Diary of Anne Frank, was one of the best school productions ever seen in Fairbury. It was the story of Anne Frank, a young girl in Germany during the Second World War. Anne, superbly played by Laura Rawson and Barbara Roth, and her entire family, are forced to go into hiding with another family, the Van Daans. It is an inspiring story of courage and heroism, always pursued by the Nazis, always afraid of being given away, they are continually tormented by their own fears. The play, under the direction of Mr. Malone, was very good, and will be remembered by all who were privileged to view it. The Friday Night Cast ... Anne Frank...........
