August 3--It was Friday night, and everyone came to Study Hall to pick up last year's Crier. August 22 23--The Seniors got all dressed up to have their pictures taken. September 4--The first day of school was launched. September 14--We started our football season with a victory over Chenoa. September 21--Lewis Field was the scene for our win over Morris. September 28--The race for victory between Fairbury and Pontiac ended in a tie. October 5--At the conclusion of the game, we triumphantly ran off the Lexington football field. October 12--We were handed our first defeat by Dwight. October 18--Homecoming festivities were initiated by the annual bonfire. October 19--Rain hampered our Homecoming game, but our victory over Woodland shone through. October 20--The queen and her court made their debut at 10 P.M. at the Homecoming dance. October 26--Our hopes were shattered when Marseilles defeated us. November 2--Clifton Central rolled over us. November 9--Our football season came to an end with a spectacular victory over Forrest. November 16 17--After long hard nights of practice, the Seniors presented their play, BLITHE SPIRIT.

To Fair bury individual. Living with her American parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Wascher and their children Judith, Barbara, and Douglas, Gurid has excelled in whatever she has attempted. She was in the Senior and Speech Club plays, the Student Council, Pep Club, and Speech Club. Gurid returned to Norway in July leaving F.C.H.S. with an admiration for her country and her way of life. Family in America 3
