November 22-25--Everyone was happy to have a four day vacation and rest for Thanksgiving. December 16--The choruses presented a very nice Christmas program of music. December 21--Hoorah! Hoorah1 Christmas vacation! December 26--We were sadly downed by Roanke-Benson in the first game of the Metamora Holiday Basketball Tourney. January 11--After long weeks of practice, the Speech Club presented three one-act plays showing the theater yesterday-- The Great Western Melodrama”--today-- Heat Lightning --and tomorrow-- The Exception and the Rule. January 23-24--It snowed and snowed and snowed so there wasn't any school. January 25--The National Honor Society sponsored a dress-up day. January 28--There was open house at the high school. All parents attended each class with bells and everything else. Back to school for Mom and Dad. February 2--A11 the bands in Livingston County assembled at Woodland and presented a very impressive program. 4 February 21--The F.H.A. sponsored an informative demonstration for girls on how to be more beautiful. February 23--The French Club held its formal initiation with onions, lipstick, etc. February 23--The Student Council held a scrapdrive. March 9--The Great Seniors sponsored an Oriental Garden dance. March 11--The National Honor Society formally inducted its new members with a ceremony and tea following. March 16--The band attended the state band and choral contest at Plainfield High School and came home with five superior ratings. March 20--Everyone in school took tests all day to see how much we have learned. March 30--The fourth annual Top Teen Talent Show was put on by the Math Club. 28
