To You, John McNeil A part of Fairbury High School, Filled with charm and appeal, The backbone of our Crier , Our own Mr. McNeil. Classes are kept lively, With jokes that we all feel, Could be told by none other, Than the one and only McNeil. In spite of your tests, you're the greatest, Our feelings we can’t conceal, This page we dedicate, To you, John McNeil. Someone who was near and dear To us each and all Walked away through heavens gate In answer to the call. Though we cannot see her face, And her laughter we all miss, Her sparkle is in the sunshine, And each breeze still whispers Phyliss... Her footsteps echo through the halls, Her sweetness still is here, All who knew remember Things that made her very dear. Though we still don't understand, And on earth she’ll be no more, We cling to hope of reunion On that distant, golden shore. ■24— PERRY ABBEY FRANK AHLSTROM CAROL BILLINGSLEY KAREN BOUNDS GALE BRESSNER LINDA BRUCKER KENNETH DELUNGER MARSHA DORAN KAREN ESTEP CONSTANCE FITZGERALD WILLIAM FUIGATE LINDA GLOVER CARLOS GOEMBEL RONNIE GREEN SALLY GREENWELL NANCY NETHERINGTON LARRY HOBART CAROL SUE HOLLAND WILLIAM HOUSEHOLDER RICHARD KAFER MARSHALL KAISNER SHARON LAWLESS JEANETTE LAWRENCE GLENNA LIGHT CAROL MLlVIN DONNA METZ TOM MILLER DONNA MILLER JIM MOORE SUSIE MOORE FRANK MORRIS DONALD MULVANY BOBBY POOL NORMAN PIERCY JACKIE ROGERS JOHN SHITMAN RAYMOND SLAGEL WILLIAM SOMERS DAVID STE1DINGER DALE STEFFEN BEVERLY STEIDINGER WILLIAM STEIDINGER GARY STEVENS THOMAS TAYLOR JUDITH V. The first part of the meeting consisted of a program, and, when the meeting was finished, there were games and refreshments. The Latin Club of 1923 bought the pictures that now hang in the Latin room. The club has held the Junior District Society meeting twice and has had members in the District Council. The Roman Banquet and a field trip to Chicago are held annually. —61— FRONT ROW. Left to Right: J. Lawless, S. Lawless, J. Wells, K. LaMonte. V. Wells, Historian; W. Spence, L. Bean L. Steidinger, M.
