Throughout the past year, the 1973 SEQUOYAH Editorial Staff has had the responsibility of capturing in the best way possible wonderful memories that will be cherished forever. We have devoted our holidays, nights and numerous weekends diligently preparing the 1973 SEQUOYAH in order that you might be able to relive those exciting times as a Fair Park Indian. I can convey only sincere gratitude for the cooperation and willingness to work displayed by each editor. Many people other than the staff must also be thanked for their valuable time and patience. It is impossible for me to express my appreciation for the understanding and dedication of Mrs. Judy Reynolds. With her constant encouragement we were able to produce this book. The Staff wishes to extend a very special thanks to Mr. Kurvis Burns and his staff of photogra- phers who have helped us to capture the memories this book contains. We are all deeply grateful for the helpful advice of Mr. Chuck Fowler, our Taylor Representative. Without him the 1973 SEQUOYAH would not have been possible. We thank the administration and faculty for their cooperation and understanding when we were trying to meet our deadlines. Mrs. Reynolds’ COE class especially deserves our gratitude. They were always ready to assist us whenever we needed help. The year has come to an end and we of the SEQUOYAH Staff hope this — the 1973 SEQUOYAH, will preserve some of the joyous and anticipating memories of Fair Park 1973. 299
