Service The more one gives of himself the more content he will be. For selfishness is at the heart of much of the unhappi- ness and unrest that exists today. Psy- chologists have confirmed the teachings of Christ that true happiness can be found only by an individual losing himself in service to others. Many organizations exist for the purpose of teaching stu- dents to serve others. Anyone who is willing can enrich his life by taking ad- vantage of these opportunities to serve.

The goal of every student at Fair Park should be the development of his brain into a working integral part of his mind and body relationship. Education is the instrument utilized to accomplish such a result. Students need a thorough, broad education to understand the great issues challenging the minds of men and to communicate their ideas effectively. Dis- cipline is also needed for maximum ef- fectiveness. Learning comes through com- prehending in the classroom, listening to lectures, and creating and discover- ing by doing. These enable students to develop skills and to quicken their intel- lect and abilities. 5
