6 ...busy The clang of the tardy bell and the scurry- ing sounds ot last minute students rushing to class presented quite a contrast to the dead silence that came fifteen minutes later with every head bent studiously over piles ot work, bobbing in rhythm to busily weaving pencils. The quietness that prevailed in the building during class hours gave no hint ot the under- currents of furious activity that make up the lives of Fair Parkers. Studying was hastily done, exams were carefully prepared, and organizations worked at a rapid pace to com- plete proiects.
