eclication Mr. Alberson and Fair Park have become synonymous within our city- a Big man and a Big school. Under Mr. Alberson's leadership Fair Park has reached noble heights of achievement in scholarship, in music, in athletics, and in vocations. Students have grown in stature, intellectually and spiritually, through participating in school activities which have developed their interests and their capacities for leadership, through acquiring an appreciation for the good in music, through living in a school atmosphere which radiated love and friendship, through competing with one's self, growing according to their personal abilities. Greater than these attainments, though, has been the evidence of genuine consideration for his fellow man which Mr. Alberson has revealed to his pupils. During his years at Fair Park, children from the School for Exceptional Children have found a ready home for their high school years, children with speech handicaps have seen complete cure through the advantage of correctional speech, shut-in pupils have attended classes by telephone, all children have received benefits from a dental clinic sponsored and financed by the school. Only one dedicated to service for others and endowed with brotherly love can produce such great good for mankind. Out of a great mind arise great thoughts. With his greatness Mr. Alberson has pioneered in the educational world. The use of visual aids has become a reality in each class room, with a special department to supervise their use, guidance has become an organized part of the daily schedule, accelerated pupils have received training within specially organized classes, the Honor Legion, a group of girls skilled in marching, has come into existence, the R. O. T. C. has developed young men who have become valuable citizens. Therefore we pay tribute to him especially for the example which his life has been, for his ideals with which he has endowed many, for his influence upon every person who has come his way. True Christian love manifest through his everyday activities will be a treasure he leaves to each one, we gratefully acknowledge the gift with our deep and abiding love for MR. E. L. ALBERSON
