Class Prophecy I have just left my sea-shore home in Florida toattendthe Fair Oaks 1954 Class Alumni Banquet. As I fly over Rensselaer, Indiana, whichis now enveloped inthe tremendous expansion of Fair Oaks, I recall when Fair Oaks was just a small town. It is now the largest city in the world. Directly below me, I can see the glorious new hospital that PAT COVER is now head nurse of. Pat is foremostnurseinthe world today, and has made Fair Oaks her headquarters. To my left Ican see the huge three-block factory thatwas given to CHAR- LES GILMOREand JOAN CRAWFORD as a wedding present from Joan's father. Since it would be entirely too big of a job for Chuck alone to runit, he had to call in EDMUND STUDER, Edmund is a great maninthe field ofindustry, and he runs the mechanized end of the plant. HALLECK LONG has recently returned from abroad where he made a tour of European Countries with his wife Phyllis. He has a world famous dance band, and he is the most popular band leader in the country. PHYLLIS HERRE has just arrived in her new Herremobile which she made especially for this great event. Phyllis is in the manufacturing business and manufactures the Herremobiles with such volume thatitis now the most popular automobile in the world. Among its many features,is an electric eye so that you don't have to watch the road, and a one way glass top that keeps you from getting sunburned while riding on a clear day. RALPH MURPHY is now making personal appearances in the more famous clubs and before the royalty of most of the countries of the world. He had to cancel a piano program with the King and Queen of England just to be here at the banquet tonight. MARILYN STORM has just discovered a way tomake successful brain op- erations on mental patients that goes beyond all other treatments. LEONA DUNNis nowMrs. Ray Bozell. They owna farm north of Rensselaer, which is now a suburb of Fair Oaks. They growall the food for the entire popu- lation of Fair Oaks. Otte DeYoung DeMotte, Iudiana DeKock Hardware Co.
