As I drive my car to the Country Club for our class reunion, I wonder what my classmates have been doing during the past ten years. As a housewife, I have seen very few of them, although some of them have occupied the “Fair Grove Gazette for quite some time. ERNEST MYERS is editor of the paper and the greenbacks really roll in. As I arrive, I start to park, but find it difficult between the limousines and Cadillacs. Surely, I must be at the wrong place, but no, there is someone that looks familiar, but yet I can hardly see her under that mink. She is turning this way! Bless Pat if it isn't JUDY BLAKELY. I knew she had achieved great fame as an opera soprano, but I didn't expect to see her today. She was in New York last time I heard. As I finally find a parking place for my Mercury, I start to go in, and I am late as usual. I enter the club and hang my wrap on the rack with the minks and ermines. After greeting everybody, I sit down to talk to New York Times reporter, JOYCE HUGHES. As we talked, I was told many interesting things about my dear ole classmates of '58. BOYCE BODENHEIMER and HOLLIS BLAIR own a stock car and just last week won $50,000 racing. LEON ALBRIGHT teaches Spanish and German at U.C.L.A. PATSY ADAMS and JEAN ALBRIGHT own the Conover Modeling Agency and are the star models. BARBARA CURRY designs all clothes for Kim Novak, Marilyn Monroe, and Jane Russell. She is paid a fabulous salary. PATTI HILL and NANCY BQDE “ leisure. JOHN EVERHART ™ ■ were not for them. PREMA BYERLY is secretary to John D. Rockefeller, Jr and handles all financial matters. CHALMOUS SECHREST is the idol of all teenagers with h is now current song, Knock, Knock. LARRY FLOYD won the football championship for Carolina again this year. He really trains his boys well. JON IE NELSON is his star quarterback. PHILLIP COGGINS has achieved great fame as a wrestler. People flock to the arena every night and consider themselves lucky to get a seat. DARRELL WESTMORELAND is his manager. PANSY HILL and SHELBY DANIELS are rolling in money that is the results of their sugar plantation in Cuba. With their quiet personalities, I was always certain of their success. JERRY KILCREASE, the neat boy of our class, is making movies when his time permits. However, mod- eling for athletic magazines takes most of his time. KERMIT SNYDER and FRED HUSKINS teach and direct music at city schools. They conduct an orchestra of 500. This proves that hidden talent does exist. RONNIE STILWELL and FRANCES HARDEE have taken over the Arthur Murray Studios. And it was always thought that they had two left feet in high school. LINDA HILTON and NANCY MARTIN own the exclusive stores of where the best dressed women in America select their clothes. ALICE ELLIOTT is an acrobatic swimming instructor. She also models bathing suits in her spare time. SHIRLEY EVANS is married and lives in a deluxe house that covers a complete block. DICKIE FLEMING and JUDYFOWLERare chemists and have just discovered how to grow oranges with- out seeds. AT PERRY WHITMAN Lgpp producer in Hollywood now. I always knew his ambi tion would be rewarded. JANICE LAMBETH and DOLLIE BOLDEN are comediennes and are in demand in every state of the U. S. They hqy b©en week-end guests at the White House many times. JERRY KOONTZ is running for Congress. I know he will succeed because of his Southern popularity. JERRY CRUMP and LEO BECK are co-owners of the American Steel Company. Three hours later after I had talked to everybody, and as I was getting ready to leave, I thanked Mrs. Fowler for the wonderful time Lhad had. Everybody was the same as ever, success had ruined or spoiled none of them. I was so proud of them as I recalled many of the enjoyable times I had spent with them. Leaving I was happy and started looking forward to the time I could see them all again. ANNE SUGGS Class Prophetess Compliments of HUDSON BELK CO. Compliments of J. C. GREEN SONS
