Well, thats certainly surprising. But listen to this. I got a letter from Jimmy Sechrest yesterday and he has his own T.V. show in New York. He now lives on a large farm somewhere in Conn. Oh, I didn't know thatl l think it's great. Well, Martha Lambeth and Lillie Smith are living in New York now. ReaIIy? Yes, Martha is running a model i.ng school and Lillie is the secretary of some big lumber fim under the management of Amold Fuller. P Well, I've heard it all, haven't l? No, not quite, Barbara Byerly is a lawyer in Arizona. - Well, I thought she would be one, because she always talked in front of large crowds without getting the least bit nervous. Yes, I know. Well, let me tell you. Last week when Iwas in Africa I ran up with none other than Winnie Underwood and Sylvia Creasy. Did you really? Well, they were really good in school . lsn't that the truth? l got a telephone call from the airport here in Pearl Harbor the other morning. I went out there and guess who I saw? I haven't the slightest idea? Shirley Stillwell . She's an airplane hostess with Pan American Airlines. Well, fine. I walked up to the plane to viewrit closer ana saw Richard Lowder's head sticking out a window. He and his fellow scientists,Billy Pierce and Bobby Coopeg are trying to locate a new spot in the Pacific to set off the S Bomb. ' Goodness, l didn't know that. Carolyn Faircloth was on the plane, retuming to the states after a successful tour in the Far East where she was given the name of the World's Most Famous VE Skier. Good, tell me mare. -- I ot a letter this moming from Mary Ann fchildgrgl Hill and Martha fHughesl Briles from Cal . Well, they finally got to Califomia, did they? Yes, they invited me to spend a week in their motel which they have built in Beverly Hills. Oh good. Don't forget to come by and see me before you retum to Hawaii.
