an THOMASVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA DAVIDSON COUNTY We, the Senior Class, of nineteen hundred and fffty-two realizing that our happy school days are nearing the end do hereby declare this to he our last will and testament. I. TO OUR PRINCIPAL: Mr. Kearns—We leave our deepest appreciation for his untiring efforts in helping us along our rocky road through Fair Grove. II. TO THE FACULTY: Mrs. Ivey—A guarantee of one class per day with no interruptions. Mrs. Fowler—We leave our sincerest thanks for boosting us along when the going got rough. Mr. Cox—We leave our moral support that he may have a winning team, in basketball, baseball, and football. Mrs. Murphy—An extra typing class so she won’t have to teach World History next year. Mr. Garrison—We bequeath our excess knowledge to be passed on to those poor freshmen in algebra class. III. TO THE CLASS OF ’53: Gilliam Anderson wishes to leave his melodious voice to Jack Hensley. Rita Ward wills her ability to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and say the wrong thing at the wrong time to Jimmy Sechrest. George Kearns wills his ability to get along with teachers to Royce Maxwell. Remell Cranford wishes to leave her long hair to Lorraine Nelson. Nancy Jo Kennedy wishes to leave her love for gossip to Carol Rumple. Roy Bevan leaves his neatness to Clifton, who really doesn’t need it. Hilda Dennis leaves her “gabby” ways to Jo Ann Callieut. Jo Ann Pierce wishes to leave her ability to always come to class late to Martha Hughes. Nellie Jo Eddinger leaves her ability to make A’s to Billy Joe. IV. TO THE SOPHOMORES: We will all our extra strength so that they can continue in F. G. H. S. for the next two vears. V. TO THE FRESHMEN: We leave the fondest hopes that they will have as much fun in high school as we have had. We the class of nineteen hundred and fifty-two hereby publish and declare the aforesaid to be our last will and testament.
