( ommand Senior L kief QMCS(SW) THOMAS A. ADAMS entered the U.S. Navy in January 1959. Prior to reporting to USS FAHRION, Senior Chief Adam ' s numerous duty stations included USS CLIFTON SPRAGUE (FFG-16); Commander Military Sea Transporta- tion Service Atlantic and Med Office Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Commander Patrol Wings Atlantic Staff; USS DASH (MSO-428); USS HIG- BEE (DD-806) and USS OKLAHOMA CITY (CLG- 5). Senior Chief Adams is a qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist. His hobbies include cooking and fishing. Senior Chief Adams is au- thorized to wear the Battle E Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal with silver star, Navy Expedi- tionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with silver star, Vietnam Service Medal with three stars, Sea Service Ribbon with one star, Expert Shot Pistol Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Senior Chief Adams is married to the former Catharina W. Daniels and is residing in Atlantic Beach, Florida. BMCS(SW) PETE W. HORNE enlisted in the U. S. Navy in August 1961. After recruit training in San Diego, California, Senior Chief Home served aboard USS TRACER (ARG-13), USS VEGA (AF-59), and USS ROBERT A. OWENS (DD-827). Senior Chief Home has also complet- ed tours at Cargo Handling Battalion Two, NAVSTA Subic Bay R. P.; DaNang, Republic of Vietnam; NAVSTA, Newport Rhode Island; NAVSUPPFAC, La Maddellena, Sardinia; NAVCOMMSTA, Ponce, P.R. ; chief of Naval Ed- ucation and Training Headquarters, and NAS Pensacola, Florida. Senior Chief Home is a quali- fied Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and a qualified Craftmaster. He is authorized to wear the Navy Achievement Medal with one star, Com- bat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Medal with one star, Meritorious Unit Commen- dation, Good Conduct with four stars, National Defense Service Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with two stars, and the Sea Service Ribbon. Se- nior Chief Home and wife, Anne Marie, have two sons, Jim Ed and Ernie.
