R o s a Berru Sponsor ................................... Miss Donaghey The majority of the Seventh Grade has had the pleasure of knowing each other for many years. For this reason everyone is cooperative and we feel that this has been a very successful year. Our literary work has been kept up to standard and our interest in athletics has made that study profitable. Social activities have not been neglected either. As we have a jolly group of Seventh Graders we enjoy having good times and having parties with our teachers. The activities that will always be associated with our seventh grade year are: Sur- prise birthday party for Miss Daniel, Valentine party for Miss Donaghey, Sun- set supper, hay ride, and the picnic given at the end of school. In the years to come we intend to make each year a bigger and better year than the one before. PAGE THIRTY

FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY President ........... .. . Dorothy Patridge Vice President ........ .... K enzie Turner Secretary Sz Treasurer . . . ..... Florene Menefee Colors ............... ..... G reen and White Motto .......... ....... . Green, But Growin 8' Our class is one of which we may be proud. It is a class of unlimited pep and loyalty and has great ideas for the future years. Although just Freshmen, the upper classmen must admit that we have always been loyal boosters of Fabens High S-chool and our influence has been felt in almost every school activity. We entered into all athletics. The girls have played on the volley ball, tennis and basketball teams. Gur boys have furnish- ed members for our football team with such stars as Thomas Lambert, jack Menefee, Starlin Clifford and others. One of our distinguished members, Kenzie Turner, was voted the most handsome boy in High School. Arturo Rodriguez has won our class fame in both county and district track meets. He also took part in the State meet. Besides athletes, handsome boys and declaimers we have some excellent students who are placed upon the 'honor ro-ll each month. Great in numbers, in enthusiasm, pep and loyalty we are going to become a greater class in the future. So take my word and keep your eye on the class of '33. PAGE TWENTY NINE
