Shelly Rogers completes Mr. Fleck’s history assignment. Crisis. a simulation game, teaches Kelly Stoltzfus and Dawn Beane problem solving techniques. Patti Ostrowski takes a history breather. We should all be concerned about the future because we will have to spend the rest of our lives there.” This quote from Kettering set the tone for the social studies department this year. In response to changing society, the department added a new course titled the American Political System to the curriculum. This course was required for all incoming sophomores who did not have a Civics course in ninth grade. Students also participated in field trips to Gettysburg. NYC, and Washington, D.C. academics 15
