Frequent substituting enables Mrs. Viola Andrascik to understand Mr. MacLean’s early morning instructions. Behind the scenes of student discipline, crisis intervention, cafeteria duty, teacher observations, and coffee drinking, the gentlemen who made the decisions were at meetings. Messrs. MacLean and Tomulis attended meetings of the secondary staff, department chairpersons, guidance, the school board, county principals, The Inter-County Football League, and faculty meetings. They also went to workshops, the Curriculum Council, sports banquets, the Athletic Council, and individual classrooms where they evaluated teacher and student performance.
