Geiger It takes courage, talent and pride to accomplish the im- pressive season the Lady Ea- gles had this year. The Eagles had it together right from the beginning, finishing with a 15-3 record. After taking a first place finish at the McCool Invi- tational Tournament, they just kept on flying! Winning their next five games, the Eagles went into the CRC Tournament ready to win, and they did! The Eagles claimed the CRC Cham- pionship title and Darcy Cuda- back and Kelli Ruhl were chosed first team all-confer- ence and Lisa Schwab team all conference. What a great season ladies. CROSSING OVER INTO NEW IMAGES Tom is looking a bit soggy! The Exeter Cross Country pro- gram had three individual run- ners for the 1985 season. The three runners were Ted Hoff- man, Tom Shafer, and Mark Miller. In a season filled with sun, snow, and rain, the Ea- gles went to battle in nine meets. Ted, the most success- ful of the three Eagle runners, defeated 439 varsity runners raising his career total to a school record of 1,463 de- feats. All the runners bettered themselves from last year, set- ting new personal records of 15:47, Ted — 18:48, Mark — 21:50, Tom — With the season climax at Ge- neva, host of- the C-1 district meet, Ted won the 5,000 me- ter race by out sprinting the competitors and taking the gold medal.
