Commencement 1980 The graduates show their happiness and excitement after finally finishing their high school days. Mary Erdkamp and Darren Eberspacher anticipate re- ceiving their diplomas. The Senior girls provided entertainment by singing Both Sides Now under the direction of Mr. Bruce Blanchard. Rusty Ruhl receives his diploma from Gary Ruhl, President of the School Board, while Mr. Bell looks on. On May 20, 1980 at 8:00 p.m., the Commencement exercises were held in the Exeter gym which was filled to capacity. The Seniors wore robes of light and dark blue. The Invocation was given by Msgr. Ingenhorst. The guest speaker was William J. Ptacek. Mr. Fitsgerald, Principal, gave out the scholorships and special awards. Honors Night was held May 19, 1980 at 8:00. 10 Sylvia Ekeler, above, and John Leif, right, gave the Senior Address. Both talks were very interesting.

Here We Go Eagles, Here We Go! Randy York was this year's Athletic Banquet speak- Exeter’s own comedian, Tim Nicholas, was host of the banquet. Tim’s jokes er. He gave a very entertaining and humorous talk. added to the night’s entertainment. JJusty Ruhl received the “Outstanding Team Player’ award. The “Outstanding Senior Basketball Player’’ award went to Jim Horne and Doug Hall. Kay Ruhl is again presented the “Outstanding Girl Athlete’’ award.
