Prom Memories 1979 Junior class members decorating for their Prom, Sophomore servers did a good job at the Prom. Above left- Jody Koca and above are: Trent Hoelscher and Jon Petersen. Prom 1979 had the theme I have waited for so long. The center of attraction was a stream with a bridge to cross over and a windmill at one end. The colors were pastels of green, yellow, pink, and blue. There was a mural placed at the entrance next to the bridge to honor the seniors with the words Welcome Seniors on it. The meal was cooked by the Junior class mothers and served by ten members of the Sophomore class. Bill Bonta was the Master of cere- monies. The band, Strider, entertained at the dance which followed the banquet. What a year for prom memo- ries! Susan Krause and Mary Bonta read the Senior Prophecy. A salute to the Senior class as they walked into the hall. The windmill and stream were the center of the decorations by the Ju- niors. 6
