Pep Club Promotes Spirit Promoting school spirit is the main objective of the Pep Club. This organiza- tion uses pep rallies and a wide variety of methods to create a winning atmosphere at football and basketball games. The Pep Club assures athletes moral support whether they win or lose. In addition to this, the club sold booster pins and rib- bons to finance their various activities. All high school girls are eligible for membership in this organization. Cheerleaders are the spark behind the Pep Club. This year they attended a state-wide cheerleading clinic to broaden their skills. The four varsity cheerlead- ers and the four reserve cheerleaders werepopularly elected by the Pep Club on the basis of cheerleading ability and per- sonal appearance.
