Much credit for the success of our school year must be given to the Board of Education. They not only pay the bills but also are the voice of the community. They have always kept the standard of the school as high as possible and thereby gave to us students as many opportunities as possible. We express our appreciation to the Board of Education. TFJF FACUL Just as capital must have labor in order for production to take place, there must be a faculty in order to run a well or- ganized school. The faculty helps to train the students to be good leaders as well as good followers. We, the Seniors of 1940, wish to express our appreciation and gratitude to the faculty for making our school life enjoy- able and successful. We are especially grateful to them for training us, the Seniors of 1940, to be good leaders as well as good followers. These are the faculty members of 1939-1940» L. E. HUNKINS is the Superintendent of the school. He also teaches Junior Business Training, Civics, and Rural Soci- ology. Mr. Hunkins received his Masters and Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Nebraska. He has faithfully served this school for seventeen years. Much credit should be given to his leadership. MISS MARIE MINNICK is the Principal of the Exeter High School. She teaches European History, American History, Normal Training Reviews and Pedagogy. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cotnor College. She is sponsor of Girl Reserves and the Student Council. OWEN ZOOK came to us in the year 1929. He teaches Geometry, Biology, and Physics. Mr. Zook is the sponsor of the Junior class. Ho received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Peru College. MRS. LEILA WILKINSON camo to us in the year 1934. She toaches Typing, Commercial Law and Bookkeeping. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degrees from the University of Nebraska.
