1 1 1 1 i 1 1 1J Special events also went through changes this year. Because of heavy rains the annual Homecoming game was changed from Friday night to Monday night. The Courtwarming cer- emonies saw the addition of male candidates and for the first time a Courtwarming king was crowned. The administra- tion also voted in 1985 to move the graduation ceremo- ny to the Mabee Center in Liberty. — At that time Roose- velt Field was un- der construction. Although renova- tion was virtually complete, in 1986 the board also vot- ed to have the com- mencement exer- cises at the Mabee Center. Things — were the same, but different. As time goes by all of us go through changes. We go through changes in our attitudes on — such concepts as relationships, val- — ues and ideals. We make decisions about our futures — and we change to fit those plans. At times, these changes occur fast causing frustration and misunder- standing. Often though these changes are slow and deliberate re- suiting in a better understanding of ■— ourselves and each other. This year was a time for change. Changes that left us the same, but different. 1 Opening Sophomore class officers receive the spirit stick.
