Time Of Singing This year the Select Choir has shown great talent and spirit They produced the musical, “Oklahoma”, which was a very big success. They have had many small ensembles. Some of these sang only at local clubs and or- ganizations; others sang at music contests. The Choraliers, a mix- ed group, sang at many club meetings during the year. The Select Choir received a I rating at State Contest. Other groups that received I’s were; Girl’s Sextet I, Boy’s Double Quartet, Girl’s Trio, Jamie Lansford, and Jean Ann Garner. Every club operated a booth. Some of the booths were: darts, a fun house, body painting, golf, and a car bash. Pictured at the right are people buying popcorn, tacos, and Pepsis from concessions. ESHS Takes Time For Assemblies Several assemblies were presented this year at ESHS. Shown are several couples who found time to be together. Time For Togetherness At Prom The Junior-Senior Prom was held on April 30, 1971, at the Oaks Hotel. The Juniors chose “Moonlight and Roses’’ as their theme and The Foun- dation as the band. A small room was set up with tables and chairs where couples could sit and talk while enjoy- ing refreshments. The juniors put in a lot of work on the Prom and the seniors were very appreciative. Seniors Take Time Out For A Party Mr. Gary Kennedy and other faculty again sponsored a Senior party before the Senior Trip. Games, prizes and dancing provided the entertainment for the seniors who attended the party. Seniors Turn Serious At Baccalaureate Baccalaureate services were held at 8:00 p.m., May 16, 1971, in the ESHS auditorium. The speaker was Rever- end Arthur Hinnah.
