This year’s high school annual is dedicated to Mr. John W. Alberty who recently resigned his position as Superintendent of Schools of Excelsior Springs to accept a position with the State Department of Education in Jefferson City, Missouri. Mr. Alberty served in an administrative capacity here for eleven years-------four years as high school principal and the remaining seven years as superintendent of schools. During this time, he made evident his professional ca- pabilities as a top-notch administrator as well as his innate ability of being a sincere and gracious person. We wish him much success and happiness in the future.
