A chez who is dedicated to his work and serves as a pattern by which students can hope to mold themselves into useful men and women is a person deserving of great respect and honor. WE have dedicated our annual to such a person. He has been at Excelsior for five and a half years and has shown loyalty to Excelsior and his responsibilities. He is a symbol of sincerity and success and is an inspiring example to students and faculty alike. His soft tone of voice and witty sense of humor along with his friendly personality make a required English class enjoyable as well as interesting. Because of his superior teach- ing techniques, he was asked to make a contribution to educational television. As a teacher of English. a scholar of great books and as head of the English department he has served Excelsior well.
