The four people on Excelsior's counseling staff found them- selves engaged in making program changes, schedul- ing and giving tests, filing scholarship applications, and performing all the other responsibilities needed to see roughly two thousand stu- dents through four years of high school with a minimum of confusion and a maximum of learning. Yet these busy people somehow still found time to give individual guid- dance to students and to help them with their plans for the future.
