Our Girls' League was no different from any movie production, requir- ing money to carry out all the scenes on the production schedule. The Girls' League Ways and Means Committee devised many ways of raising the funds needed to produce the Sadie Hawkins Dance and other Girls' League activities. The Freshmen Girls' Day, first scene of the Excelsior Story, was planned and executed by the Friendship Committee. The Frosh Day was planned to get the fresh- men girls acquainted with their campus and new classes. The Friendship Committee, besides pro- moting friendship be- tween girls, served at various teas and other school functions.
