GOLF With the shouting of Fore , the cameras rolled into action by shooting scenes of G.A.A. Golf. In golf the girls learned the various strokes and grips. Countess, A. Hall, M. Carr, S. Berry. BADMINTON There was a group on campus this year that al- ways seemed to be watching the birdie . These were members of the G.A.A. Badminton group. They learned the fundamentals of the game as well as sports- manship. ARCHERY Many different skills were required for various scenes on the Excelsior set. The girls participating in G.A.A. SWIM TEAM During the course of the year, the Excelsior G.A.A, swim team achieved an outstanding record in swim competition, going unde- feated in all district meets and losing only one non-district meet. They also participated in a water ballet at Compton High School. SONG LEADERS On Excelsior -the theme music from the Excelsior Story and Go PiIots, one of the favorite yells from the production, were among the spirit raisers taught by the song and yell leaders to their under- studies.
