Volleyball. Every Monday and Tuesday of the first quarter girls came out and practiced for the future tourna- ments and play days. Learning to work well as a team was an important goal of our cast through the year. The girls par- ticipating in G.A.A. Basketball found the fast-moving sport a valuable asset in at- taining this goal

Tournament Ten- nis and Tennis Team met to learn tennis skills from Miss Bonnie Bowman. The girls played against other G. A. A.'ers from Norwalk, Bellflower, and Artesia. They worked to im- prove their skills in order to replace the Tourna- ment Tennis Team in the future.

GOLF With the shouting of Fore , the cameras rolled into action by shooting scenes of G.A.A. Golf. In golf the girls learned the various strokes and grips. Countess, A. Hall, M. Carr, S. Berry. BADMINTON There was a group on campus this year that al- ways seemed to be watching the birdie . These were members of the G.A.A. Badminton group. They learned the fundamentals of the game as well as sports- manship. ARCHERY Many different skills were required for various scenes on the Excelsior set. The girls participating in G.A.A.
