The I for peace-peace based on balance of A Foreword edger for the year 1955-56 is a full one. lt tells of nations of the world searching power, pitting science and production against man-power and poverty-Democracy against Communism. lt tells of top-level leaders of the Big Four, meeting for the first time to discuss peaceful co-exist- ence, development of plans for a space station, opening up further fields to be conquered in the future, and further development of atomic power. We see a change in our school district as Bellflower High School voted to withdraw-but at the same time plans were approved for a new high school in Norwalk. Increased enrollment which brought the total number of students to 2600, brought many problems to be weighed and solved. But with the over-crowded classrooms came also an all-time high in school spirit. Life is a series of balances such as these. Good is balanced with bad, ff r ,.- l ,I war with peace, sickness with health, and life with :Lf-', 4.1 ll' f death. Our school lite is also balanced-balanced '.
