The world around us has been faced with problems of unrest and confusion. It has been a year of war troubles, a year of Eincmeial -Worries to many inour community. However, to others it has meant con- tentmentand security. Our town has continued to grow in industry and population. school has expended too. Our faculty .is now larger than it, has ever been before. With the. removal of the Artesia students from our school, it has made our Student Body a little smaller. We, the students of Excelsior, have watched' many of our former classmates pra- -gress along I-ife's Paths The Senior Class is now leaving thesschaolp some fearing to-staff fllil'e'on -their own, others confifdent in themselvesand their ability to provide the necesii sary elements of life. As we march- down time's trail we ,need something to lighten our load. What better medium is there' than music to do this? That is why the El Aviador staff chose our theme to be Rhythm and Blues.
