Janitor Activity, Gus Werner Custodes The ianitor staff was headed by Mr. Laurie, the chief custodian. Mr. Laurie had a staff ot ten men, custodians and watchmen, working under him. Their jobs were not only confined to keeping the buildings clean and in order, but also involved filling the teachers' supply orders and special requests.
