WI TER 'EIB Although smaller than many summer classes, Winter '36 con- tributed much to the various phases of school activity at Excelsior, especially in the realm of student government and athletics, both boys' and girls'. Their class president, Thomas Reed, likewise held the post of student body president. Choosing brown and yellow for their class colors, students in the class received their sweaters in their junior year, during which also several members of the group were chosen for the Iunior Play, Growing Pains. Also well represented in the Senior Play, The Family Doctor, the class has had at least one lead in each play. Graduating Ianuary 31 in the new auditorium of the Norwalk Grammar School, the class had one of the largest midwinter com- mencements of recent years, and at this time there was an unusually large number of honor students receiving scholarship awards. The advisers were Miss Mulcahy and Mrs. Heffernan. l fx 'ml AS RWD HELEN JACOBY MARJORIE CURTIS JAMES PARKER ,, ,J resident Vice President Secretary Treasurer
