WITH JOY AND HEARTACHE WE ARE SENIORS We entered Ewing High as freshmen in 1964 and passed two happy years as freshmen and sophomores with few responsibilities. As juniors in 1966-67, we worked hard selling magazines, operating the basketball lunch room and putting on our play. We earned a substantial sum. Mrs. Wheeler was our sponsor In our final year many individual class members did much for the basketball teams, the Bow Wow5 and EWhisco. We enjoyed a brief holiday in the Ozarks as a reward for our four years of endeavor Our greatest goal was achieved May 165 19685 when we received our diplomas We express our thanks to our teachers5 our sponsors and our parents for their help during these years li Vice-President Roger Garrison Basketball Trophy 45 Class Officer 1545 Bow-Wow staff 45 Yearbook Staff 45 Class Play 35 Basketball 153545 Baseball 1535 Cross-Coun- try 4. Lindsay Griifin Lindsay transferred to the Ewing School in his senior year5 conse- quently he had no opportunity to take part in many activities in this school. He is fond of outdoor sports and spends much time fishing and camping with his pal, David Logue. Other persons pictured on this page have displayed qualities of leadership and character which have added much to the life of the school. Bill Hicks has always been willing to use his considerable talent in drawing to those classes or organizations in need of it. Linda Hud- nut's pep and vitality have helped to rrrake her a popular student. Donnie Goings has been outstanding as a leader in school activit- ies. Kenny Gillespie called Giz by classmates, could always be depended on to do or pay his share, a rare gift, indeed. 12
