Tl1e girls were chosen for tl1e squad on the hasis of their ahility, neatness, and all-arou11d personality, This year, since tl1e squad was quite large. tl1e girls had to give up two games I. V. CHEERLEADERS Tl1e V. cheerleaders, like tl1e Varsity cheer- lc rders, helped to promote school spirit. These rrls, i11 addition to heing full of pep, were cre- rtrve and made up a few new cheers. There re six V. cheerleaders who were under the co-captainship of Pat Evanko and Delia Mc- Niullen. Under the leadership of co-captains Judy YVaters and Betty Ann Smith, llll' clreerleaders did a fine job of promotirrg school spirit. NIAIORETTES Performing at all football games was thc talented group of Ewing High Scl1ool Major ettes. Tl1ey did a11 excellent joh at every per formance, and their routines were greatly en joyed and appreciated hy all spectators.
