F TA. Club The Senior Ewing Future Teachers of America, under the direction of Mrs. Colleen Nelson, have set as their main goal a true interest in teaching. Each week members of the F.T.A. meet and discuss problems of teaching, hear speakers on related fields and activities, and see movies concerning their chosen profession. Club Consisting of competent girls who are interested in a nursing profession, the Future Nurses' Club has been given many opportunities this year. They took trips to local hospitals and practiced in one of them for two hours one day a Week. Junior and senior girls took a trip to an out-of-town hospital. Iohn Lacy, this eluh meets twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. All those interested in acting and those having any ability to act are in- vited to join. The seventh period activities take in learning something of acting, reading one-act plays, which the club may pre- sent in an assembly, and discussing problems of the theatre. Also, nomen- clature is taught to the members.
